To create this look I simply did a two strand twist piggy back around her head in a halo. I started with an avocado and coconut milk conditioner, washed with CUSH Mango Babassu shampoo bar and finished with an ACV rinse. I moisturized Baby O's hair with my own blend of shea butter and oils. I parted her hair into a circle, leaving a "halo" of hair out that I was going to be working with. I gathered the rest of the hair and banded it in a puff. Starting at the right ear I did the two strand piggy backs around her head, until I got to where I started. I twisted the section that was left and then added some glow in the dark beads and a little charm for fun. To keep the twists together I used Curls Passion Fruit Curl Control Paste. I use it this way to keep the curls IN the twists and they don't frizz up as fast.
I thought about leaving just the one puff in the back, but Baby O's hair isn't long enough to stay in one puff. Since I can't part straight to save my life, I just went with it. I made three puff in the back in triangle-like parts.
Enjoy!

I love this, I have done similar styles on D...Baby O is so cute!
Thank you, I think she's kinda cute, too, lol
Me likey! With the little beads on the side, too cute! This makes me wanna get my hands on my little god-daughter's hair...
P.S. I can't part straight either. That's one reason cornrows and I don't get along... :)
Thank you, GDL! Baby O loves her beads...I can't wait until she realizes the beads glow at night
