I re-twisted them 5 days later. We had a holiday dinner to go to and the twists were looking a little raggedy.
Hair piece from the lovely Charlotte's Avenue!
Here we are before heading out to the dinner--why does this child insist on making silly faces all the time?!?

haha D always has to take a silly face pic before she will take a smiley face pic..lol...kids. I love her twists they look so good...I wish i could get twists to look like that
UHM--Thank you, Brooke! I hope Baby O grows out of this and will let me take a smiley face pic...all the pics we take are silly faces :-)
How do you get them to stay in my A's hair wont stay twisted unless i put a band at the end :(
Toshap--I switch between using Jamaican Mango and Lime Locking Creme Wax and Miss Jessie's Curly Pudding, and curl the bottoms of each twist around my finger that has some bee's wax on it. I find the Jamaican Mango and Lime product provides more hold. The Miss Jessie's Curly Pudding keeps the twists looking neater for a little longer, but the twists tend to untwist themselves.
I love the twists on Baby O!! They look great! I just tried 2-strand twisting little brother K's hair for the first time, and had trouble at the ends. I'll have to try some of the Jamaican Mango and Lime (mmm, sounds like it would smell nice).
BTW also **love** the bangs on you!
Baby O's hair looks great and it has grown in the last couple of months. One day you will wish she would make silly pictures as opposed to not wanting to take any... LOL.
Her twists look awesome!!!
Thank u for the shout out Nikki. Baby O is so cute I love love love her twists her hair has grown loads and You both look gorgeous I like the silly face pics they give a pic charactor but I know what you mean when u sometime just want a beautiful smiling pic to add to the album (",). I love this style because they get longer hair plus you can do more styles with it coz its stretched out. I use my shea butter mix on my ends and they stay secure with that and twirling it round my finger or sometimes just pure shea butter coz its thick it gives great hold. How long are you planning on leaving them in? I think Im going to take mine out today and rock a a twist out for a few days before xmas (",)
because she is too dang fly she can make all the silly faces that she wants ;) LOL
her twist look great!
Mama M--Thank you! The Jamaican Mango and Lime smells soooo good! I use bees wax on the end of the twists, even when I use other holding products on Baby O's hair. They don't unravel as fast. (Thank you for the compliment on my bangs, too! I got bored this weekend and decided to change up my look!)
Michelle--Thank you! You are so right about eventually not wanting to take pictures. It's like pulling teeth to get pics of my 12 year old son! I wish I could get more of him, willingly :-(
Precious--Thank you! I keep all your many mini twists tips in the back of my head while I'm caring for them! Without what I've read from your blog, her twists would be a hot mess in five min lol
Baby O is just so sassy! Even drinking a cup of water, I just see sass! *Twist envy* Goldilocks' won't stay in :(
GGMix--You're welcome, Dimitra! And thank you! Silly faces do give the pics character, but yes I do want some nice pictures lol. I read that you use the shea butter on the bottom of GG's twists, but my mix isn't strong enough for Baby O's hair. Maybe I'll try some plain shea butter next time. I took them out already and she rocked a twist out--post on that coming soon ;-)
Shay--Thank you...this girl knows she beyond fly and tells everyone that she's pretty lol
Tav--Sassy is an understatement lol. I think she was trying to tell her brother to do something for her in that top picture. That's too bad Gdl's twists won't stay in, because I bet they would look amazing on her!
